# Coming from Superwhisper

Status: now

Switching from Superwhisper to Jarvis: you keep local, private transcription and gain voice control of your Mac plus an agent that remembers and acts.

Superwhisper gave you fast, local transcription. Jarvis keeps that, and adds the parts that turn dictation into doing.

## What stays the same

- Transcription runs on-device. Your audio stays on your Mac.
- It works offline.
- Push-to-talk with a hotkey.

## What is new

- Voice control: open apps, switch windows, trigger actions.
- Memory: tell Jarvis something once and it remembers.
- Routines: recurring jobs that run on their own.
