# Ask about your screen
URL: https://jarvis.ceo/docs/control/screen-vision
Status: beta

Jarvis can see what is on your screen and answer questions about it. Ask what an error means, summarize a document, or pull a number off a dashboard.

> [beta] Screen vision is in early access. Download the beta, or join the waitlist for full access.

Sometimes the fastest question is about what you are already looking at. Jarvis can take a look at your screen and answer, so you do not have to describe it.

## What to ask

Say this: "What does this error mean, and how do I fix it?"
Jarvis: Reads the error on screen, explains it, and suggests the fix.

- Explain an error or a stack trace you are staring at.
- Summarize the document or article on screen.
- Pull a number off a dashboard or a table.

> [privacy] A screen capture is sent only when you ask a question about your screen, and macOS Screen Recording permission is requested the first time you use it.

> Checkpoint: You can ask Jarvis about anything on your screen. Next: hand it a goal that takes several steps.
