Status: now

A reference of voice commands that work on macOS today with Jarvis: dictation editing, app control, browser, mail, Slack, and coding. Hold the hotkey, say the phrase, release.

Press the hotkey, say the phrase, release. Commands are grouped by what you are trying to do. This page is a living reference, so bookmark it.

## System and navigation

Say this: "Open Safari and switch to Slack."
Jarvis: Launches Safari, then brings Slack to the front.

- "Open Safari" · "Switch to Slack" · "Quit Mail"
- "Take a screenshot of this window" · "Lock my screen"
- "Set volume to 30 percent" · "Toggle dark mode"

## Browser and web

Say this: "Search YouTube for Apple Silicon benchmarks."
Jarvis: Opens YouTube and runs the search in a new tab.

- "Open jarvis.ceo in a new tab" · "Reload the page"
- "Close all tabs except this one" · "Bookmark this"

## Mail and messages

Say this: "Send a message to Sarah saying I am running five minutes late."
Jarvis: Composes and sends the message in Messages.

## Coding

Say this: "Open the file App.tsx and find all references to handleSubmit."
Jarvis: Opens the file in your editor and runs the search.

> [note] Command coverage grows as Jarvis learns the apps you use. If a phrase does not work, rephrase it the way you would tell a colleague.
