# Triage your inbox before standup
URL: https://jarvis.ceo/docs/recipes/triage-inbox-before-standup
Status: waitlist

A day-in-the-life recipe: have Jarvis read overnight email, flag what needs you, and draft replies, so you walk into standup already on top of it.

> [waitlist] This recipe uses Jarvis memory and routines, in early access. Download the beta or join the waitlist. The dictation steps work in the beta today.

The goal: zero unread anxiety by 9am. Jarvis reads what came in overnight, surfaces the few things that need you, and drafts the rest for one-tap approval.

## Say this

Say this: "Go through my inbox from overnight, flag anything that needs a reply from me, and draft responses for the rest."
Jarvis: Returns a checklist: 3 need you, 6 drafted and ready to send.

## Set it up as a routine

Once it works as a one-off, make it recurring so it is done before you wake up.

1. Run the command above once and check the result.
2. Say "do this every weekday at 7am" to turn it into a routine.
3. Each morning, review the flagged items and approve the drafts.

> Checkpoint: You now start the day already triaged. Remix this for Slack, calendar, or PR reviews.
