This is the reference. It lists capabilities and what each requires, so you can see at a glance what works out of the box and what needs a permission or connection. For task-shaped phrases you can copy, see the cheatsheet.

Works out of the box

  • Dictation into any app. Needs: Microphone, Accessibility.
  • Open apps, files, and websites. Needs: nothing extra.
  • Edit by voice (scratch that, new paragraph). Needs: nothing extra.

Needs a permission

  • Type and click in other apps. Needs: Accessibility.
  • Read your screen and answer. Needs: Screen Recording, asked at point of use.
  • Calendar read and write. Needs: Calendar, asked at point of use.

Needs a connection

  • Email triage and drafts. Needs: Gmail or Outlook connected.
  • Calendar scheduling. Needs: Google or Outlook Calendar connected.
  • Issue and PR work. Needs: GitHub, Linear, or Jira connected.
  • Notes and docs. Needs: Notion connected.
