Jarvis turns your voice into text and actions on your Mac. No account, no cloud round-trip, no subscription to start. This page takes you from a fresh download to your first dictated sentence in about five minutes.
1. Install
Download the .dmg, open it, and drag Jarvis into Applications. Works on Apple Silicon (M1 to M4) and Intel Macs running macOS 12 or later.
- Open jarvis.ceo/beta/download and download the Jarvis beta.
- Double-click the .dmg and drag Jarvis to Applications.
- Open Jarvis from Applications. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens normally.
2. Grant two permissions
Jarvis needs Microphone to hear you and Accessibility to type into other apps. Both are requested on first launch.
- Microphone, which captures your voice for on-device transcription.
- Accessibility, which lets Jarvis insert text and trigger actions in the app you are using.
3. Say your first word
Hold the hotkey, speak, release. The text appears wherever your cursor is.
